Sound more like Tuscan seats, standard Griff seats are the same as Chimaera seats.

Lotus seats look good, lower your body position, very good thing.

Yeah, I'd also say that sounds more like the Tuscan seats...

...look great but as far as support goes, hmmm, could be better! Are you after looks or hold?

I like my Tuscan seats in my chim, much better than the original arm chair I sat in, in the first chimaera I test drove. Like sitting on a lardy bean bag compared to the Tuscan seats. and they look good as U point out and pretty comfy.

I will report on the Chimaera seats on Thursday evening - after seven hours on the road.

Enjoy your journey. What engine are you i did about 310/320 miles on M1M25 at 80 ish and a load of running about incl four cold starts, 30 to a gallon I'm sure of it! 4.6 here! I am going from Norfolk to Petersfield (Carl Baker's) and back. New alarm immobiliser needed. Standard 4 litre. Must refit my radio, if only for the travel news.

I've spent a fortune just getting car working, still hav'nt put stereo that's hanging around in her, I'm
thinking of blanking the hole up I love the motor music it's so exotic yet so BSA, I can't get enough of it its so thrilling, it's true I've got into this car like no other, I could drive across the world in it easy! Miss my old grass bike thumper engines, this fullfills that yearn completely, and I can stay dry, well sort off, hang on, better watch the snow, I'm sure you know already, my car won't do a thing in snow. Evil. if it's not to bad I hope you have a blast. Bum bum.

The TVR breakers usually want about £700ish for a pair, they are usually in a pretty bad way so budget at least another hundred or so for a recolour or a bit more for a retrim.
They do pop up once in a while as a private sale but a lot of people want them so they tend to get snapped up fast.
A cheaper, more readily available, and some might say 'better' seat option is the Lotus Elise seat, these start at about £300 for good pair, but finding a matching colour will be even harder than the Tuscan seats. wink

I believe the last 2/3 years of Chimaeras and the SE Griffiths were fitted with Tuscan seats were they not?

Grif SE, and the last Chimaeras had Cerbera seats, don't think it's that hard to fit either set of seats in to an earlier car, worst case it's a few more holes in the floor. rotate

My 95 GRIFF has cerb seats installed, no extra holes in the floor.
