My Chim's got auto braking!

Suggestions please, something is "slowing" my Chim. It's as if the handbrake's part on all the time; stop on a small incline without the brakes on and it will stay there! Coast in neutral and it will drag to a halt, is this a common problem. Any ideas?

Sounds like a sticking calliper to me.

Go for a drive and afterwards go and feel the temperature at the wheels. My guess one will be noticeably hotter. That'll be the sticking one then.

From that point it depends on what is causing it.

Could be that the sliders/guides (proper term eludes me) are not allowing the pads to move away from the disks. This is normally due to dirt and gunk getting passed the rubber boot protectors. No idea of what the design of the calliper is like on a TVR.

Or could be the calliper is need of a rebuild.
