Just changed the fuel pump, and its not even priming , on the old pump only the one wire was connected so I did the same on the new one, what is the keyfob shaped thing attached to one of the clip/bracket that holds the pump inplace ,,,

Hi Kenny,
That "gizmo" does appear to be a suppressor - I assume that TVR fitted one to prevent radio reception interference.
There's a schrader valve (a tyre valve) on the fuel rail ... if you take the cap off that and (holding a cloth round it to catch any spillage) just briefly press the valve bit then does fuel spurt out? (If it does then it should be under a hell of a lot of pressure.) That'll check that you're getting fuel as far as the fuel rail.
Cheers
Phil

Still not firing there is no fuel coming out of the schrader valve, I previously mentioned there was only one wire connected to the pump on the old one, I connected both then it appeared to prime, is it possible that the wires are the wrong way round, I can easily change them but if its wrong will it fry the pump,,,
