Are you sure you haven't flooded it?

Pull the fuel pump relay, crank over for a while at full throttle to clear.

Replace relay and try no throttle.

Passenger footwell, pull back the carpet etc to expose the battery.

Grap a handful of wires and loom. There are 2 black plastic or metal relays, about 25mm cubed on the loom just hanging in their holders.

Pull them both and crank over.

It's quite obvious what they are, if a problem, pm me your number.

Is it worth checking that he's actually getting fuel pressure in the rails that supply the injectors? Pop off the valve cap, wrap a cloth round the valve and just briefly (and carefully) press the centre of the valve and check there's fuel pressure?

Ah, and the pump in priming?

Don't forget that the pump primes and then switches itself off although you still should have pressure in the system.

In that case I'd say you need to start working backwards to see where you *ARE* getting fuel to ... I'm afraid the route that I'd take here wouldn't really be safe and would likely involve fuel spurting around. frown

Gonna get stuck in again shortly and try a couple of things that Phased advised, the one thing is wiring the pump the opposite way it is now, is it possibly running the pump the opposite way its meant to the way I have the wires,,,

Is it possible to "wire" the pump the wrong way round!

If so your pump may be tryin to fill your petrol tank instead of emptying it!
