My front crank oil seal has been leaking a bit for the last 2 years, but I'm planning on fitting my new decat Y piece courtesy of Clive so figured I might aswell sort the seal at the same time.
Is it just a Range Rover classic 3.9 seal on my 95 400 serp engine as its the usual problem of paying more for postage than the seal from the specialist shops???
Cheers
Mike

I would get one from Power as there are a few copies around that form a lesser seal.

Not worth penny pinching on something like this!

I'll give power a call tomorrow, I certainly don't mind paying more for a better seal but didn't want to pay more for postage than the seal costs! I suppose I'll be better getting a new crank pulley bolt at the same time from them.

That's what I do, lump a few bits together and spread the potage.

David Gerald will post little bits by Royal Mail really handy when you just want small bits.

Have you tried Rimmer Bros. Give the a call and they'll find the parts:

I would use someone like Power for an important part like that.

In fact it was Rob from V8D that told me of the bad copies that are around.

New seal and bolt ordered from Power, just need to get some time to fit them along with my new Decat pipe!
