I have been recently posting on here about my re engineered SC Power supercharged application. I went to Mek Motorsport in Cheltenham today, a well respected outfit which disappoints some customers for giving them true power and torque figures rather than those hugely inflated at other places. The fun part was that the car maxed out their rollers! smilesmilesmilesmilesmilesmilesmilesmile

Unfortunately, my Bosch Red injectors 0280150431 maxed out on duty cycle at only 5000rpm when the car was sitting there happily at 350BHP...... and the power curve showing no signs of peaking! smilesmile I have just ordered some 42Lb Green Giant 0280155968 from the States.

What I am worried about is that my Fuel Pump wont be able to keep up, any recommendations as to what to buy and where? I would like to replace the fuel pump mounting bracket as well. Any help appreciated. Thanks.

Slap in a Bosch 044 pump, up the size of the flow and return fuel lines, I also fitted a aeromotive fuel reg set to 3 bar, no fuel delivery probs, what size charger u using ?.

Ps brackets are available for the Bosch 044 pump on the web

Agreed on the 044.
The fuel lines should be fine. If you doubt this then check the size of the outlet holes in the pump fittings. Probaly about an eighth of an inch if that.

Thanks guys. Will do. My fuel lines look a little old.

It's a C30-94. I got it geared to spin flat out on an 85mm pulley at max engine speed. I need a slightly stronger spring on the recirculating valve, it's lifting at 5000rpm which is reducing the manifold pressure causing a drop in fuel pressure. I will have my red injectors for sale if you know anyone who wants them, they are only 2000 miles old from brand new, not reconditioned.....thanks.

Sorry I didn't manage to get along to see your run, I was busy removing a BMW from my rear quarter at the time. Take it easy on the roundabout outside work, it's deadly.

Sounds like a good healthy run though, you must be happy (?) Any thoughts on what you're going to do about a re-run when you have the new pump and lines? If you maxxed them out already you may need to find a new roller to go on..

I'm still keen on the SC route, will seel the S in May 9when the weather is better for prices) and use that and some savings to pay for it - I'll be picking your brains properly then.
