Assume this is what you mean. Mine is a Ford one, on a late 99 Chimaera 4 litre

It's hard to tell with all that mastic, but the approx dimensions of the hole are 150mm by 75 mm, give or take

If you need anything more please let me know

thanks for the info Anthony, the computer I am on i am unable to open the pics, is there a hole size on there and can you quickly measure each side with a rule approx so I can cut them perfectly to size, and the distance the hole is away from the edges, again to the nearest MM.

TBH I think you'll struggle to do this without being able to make a cardboard template on the actual cut out especially as it's not rectangular and has a slanted edge at the leading edge to match the reservoir.

Portzi, PM me and I will email you the pics - the reason I posted the pics is because i couldn't see how you were going to make a cover...the top of the reservoir on my car is flush with the surface of the wing, and is the shape of a SIM card, ie a rectangle with one corner cut off.

Anthony, Mine has just slightly prodruded from the body, i had made one already, but when I have my car refurbished i had to remove it in to intension of making another. I will pm you. can you send me your email as I cant post a drawing up on here as my works computer has certain lock outs, and I will send you a drawing just measure the length of each side and I will draw it on the CNC machine and it will cut it out smile

With pleasure - on mine the cap you take off to fill it protrudes. The difficulty in measuring it is because mine was masticked into place by the back half of the pantomime horse. gives a new meaning to ham-fisted. Even I wouldn't be THAT bad, and I am to plumbing what Daz is to accountancy

hehe

I'd still check to ensure every hole is the same, there's a chance they may have been cut by hand if the opening was not included in the mould, if so it's likely the shape may vary from car to car.

I'll measure the Griff tomorrow for you.
