Paul2000 - top bloke, Chilliman, total knob.
Discussion
Firstly, big thanks to Paul2000, top bloke, Awesome looking Griff, colour is just stunning and it's going to look the dogs danglies with the new wheels on
Unfortunately, during my second pit stop of the day (M4 Eastbound, car full of Estorils) whilst trying to find the pump with the Ultimate in it I ran into a concrete plinth, which was high enough to damage beastie but low enough to make it nigh on invisible at anything less than 10 metre away
I am such a knob.

Peter - aren't you supposed to be up the garage from 6:30 this morning? C'mon man it's not going to put itself back together
Chili, back on topic, apart from biffing beastie how was your trip into gods country? Norwich to Cardiff and back 10 hours and £150 petrol?

Cam retimed, the pr?t had timed it standard.............and slowly assembling.
I did post one, but the mods have deleted it - they must know you.....
to slip it back in, as the bishop said to the actress, I said what a shame, is that just a scrape, or has it cracked the fibreglass, bad luck mate, we have all done something like that and know how it feels.
I piled all the tools I needed to do a job in the centre of my yard (which you will remember is quite large), got in my car three minutes later and reversed over the whole lot. They say the short term memory goes first

Yep, 5 hours there, 5 hours back as far as Huntingdon, but traffic on the M25/A1 was, as you'd expect on a Friday afternoon, bloody horrendous... Left home with just under three quarters of a tank yesterday at 06:30, stopped at Reading services on the M4 at 10:10 and she swallowed sixty four quids worth, then again on the way back at Leigh Delamare at 13:50, fifty six quid this time, just under half a tank left when I got to Huntingdon last night (just after 17:00). Must say, the run up the A1 (apart from the black cat roundabout) was great fun

Huntingdon? - did you take Beastie to Alex's for a quick fix?
No A, I did speak to him a week or so ago saying I might pop in, but after 10 hours in the seat, two occasions of open wallet surgery, trying to relocate a lump of concrete with a fibreglass car, and putting up with Friday night commuters, I needed alcoholic refreshment... as a matter of some urgency

That's bloody annoying.
I did something similar to that once a good few years ago with a car that was only 1 month old.... except mine cost iro of £3k to repair.....
Thanks David... She's getting the faired in headlights, provisionaly booked for April, and I'd been thinking about getting a front end respray done at the same time... quite a few stone chips now, which will be even more noticeable when staring repeatedly at the new headlights.. I guess the front end respray is a 'will do' rather than a 'might do' now I did something similar to that once a good few years ago with a car that was only 1 month old.... except mine cost iro of £3k to repair.....

Here's a photo I took on the way back
