Image Wheels on Chim
Discussion
How about someone posts an idiots guide, in very plain language, how to post pictures.
I, like you, have tried to make sense of it all but there seems to be som misconception that we are all totally computer literate.
I for one am not, far from it.
Come on, help us all!!
Terrific car by the way.
Just think, if you had not found out how to post that picture all us PHers would not be able to drool over your car.
Thanks for the compliments
.
This is how i posted a pic.
1) goto www.showoffyourcar.com and join.
2) follow instruction there on how to upload pics from your digital camera.
3) when you've uploaded pics to your account ,you can view the thumbnails (up to 4 pics).
4)while still on showoffyourcar.com if you leftclick over one of your pics, then right click on"open link in new window" your pic will open with its own address , something like www.showoffyourcar.com/cars/tvr/6219.jpg
5) if you go to my original post above and "quote" it youll see how the address of the picture is incorporated in the text. i.e with [pic] before and after.
Please note,im not a computer tech ,there are probably much easier ways of doing this but they've eluded me for years

.Thanks again,
Ruminated for a long time over whether to have gold centres.
With the body being white,i thought it might just get away with it.
The wheels are Image HT - which is the design that some Radicals have - only 17".
Tyres are Bridgestone S03 ,fr 235x40x17
rr 255x40x17
which are pretty wide ,and dont tramline like i thought they might, have yet to try them on track to see what effect the bigger footprint has on braking, cornering.
The 255's on the back ,did originally cause a problemm with fouling the arches under cornering (245x40x17 would probably have been ok)_remedied by
cutting away the inner wheel arch area and completeley reprofiling with new fibreglass.
Having your mate ,weilding a jig saw
-with his head inside the wheel arch-saying, in a humourless voice "are you REALLY SURE you want me to do this?
That was one of worrying bits
.
Luckily,he's a glassfibre/carbon fibre wizzard, and the arches are perfect :tryingfindsmileytoshowextremerelief:.

Looks great.
We've just had some OZ multispokes refurbed and after looking at the GT's I thought that if we sprayed the centres gold they would look great on ours but we haven't found another set yet so when we do we will get them done. Ours is Flip flop yellow but it does look white (most of the time). All badges are gold as are the current wheel centres (gold on black).
