noticed a leak?, fluid on the rocker cover and near the flame trap, doesnt smell like fuel, bit greasy but not overly oily. felt round the jubilee clips in the area and all feel dry ? . never noticed it before, and it had a major service a few weeks ago where I would have assumed they would have said if something major ?

Your first pic shows the fuel hoses feed and return. There is some staining on the rocker cover below them, this could be something or nothing but its no good just checking around the jubilee clips for leaks.

With the under bonnet temps on these cars any tiny petrol leak would be hard to detect as it would evaporate away.

You could start the car and bend and pull on the hoses looking for a tiny split or similar but yikes THIS IS NOT RECOMMENDED! you may end up spraying leaking fuel all over the very hot exhaust manifold.

A safer way would be to turn on the ignition and listen for the fuel pump to prime. Leave the ignition turned on and now check the hoses very carefully for a split or cracking as they perish with the under bonnet temps.

If there is any sign of cracking i would replace A.S.A.P.

As TJC. Also check no splits in rubber under jubilee clips. If ok tighten if slack. Flame trap stain is ok but check breather pipes are clear.
