I've bought one...............

After many years of wanting one and making the mistake of buying a not so bullet proof 3.2 911 when I wanted a TVR I bought one on Friday. Having been to see a few I was giving the number of a seller through Dan at Taylor TVR. the car is a 1995 400 with the HC engine in BRG.
It needs a little work;

Both engine mounts
Rocker Cover gaskets
Rear brake hoses
Front Pads
Exhaust manifold gaskets
So nothing major unless the person who inspected it missed something. The fun begins next saturday when I pick it up.

I was wondering if you had bought the car Dan had been getting back on the road for someone and has been in his work shop for a bit recently. I dont remember a stripe on that, so obviously not!

Funnily enough when i bought my chimaera last year i was contemplating a 911,, then i went for a drive in the Chim 450 and i was sold.... U will love it.

Nope not that one. It is BRG N reg with the later light conversion. I do think an air-cooled 911 has something about it noise wise pretty distictive like the TVRs.

yes the Cosworth 24valve V6, but this one was fitted with Jenvery Individual Throttle Bodies - and yeah it was and im missing it already
