450, FSH and new outriggers. It has to be worth a look at that price.

Certainly looks good, outriggers done, 450 is optimum buy.... would also be tempted if looking...

That looks lovely and does sound good from the advert. Interesting that it is a Mark 2 front, Mark 1 Rear and buttons under the mirror with a later dash but it is the crossover year so I guess that's OK..

It'd be interesting to see what colour the chassis is as 1997-1999 are the years I'd normally avoid as that was around when TVR brought the chassis prep in house and "forgot" about the zinc coating process.

If it's silver (the chassis coating) then it should be good, but TBH as the outriggers have been done it ought to be OK anyway!

It seems well worth a look.

[quote=Julesprivate) Mark 1 Rear .

It looks like part Mk1 & part Mk2. I thought the bumper on a Mk1 is a rubber affair (mine is),not colour coded as pictured.smile

Mine's R reg, first registered 01/01/98. It has the solid rear 'bumper' (not the rubber insert) flat (not angled in) rear number plate, wing mirror door buttons and front 'splitter'. I have seen other R reg cars with the rear number plate 'angled' in. I believe the boot trailing edge was changed around this time, the later model having more overhang (I think... mine has compared to some earlier cars).

Yep that's all correct, it does seem to have the later boot lid but the earlier numberplate surround (i.e. flat) and the later "bumber" (body coloured).. Mine's a 96 and is exactly the same.

You gotta love TVRs with their Mark 1, Mark 1.25, Mark 1.5, Mark 2 etc etc always makes it interesting to look at one and you can almost imagine the "hmmm i don't have a mk1 rear end so i'll use this one" thought going through their mind when they built them.

For me it's handy as i like the flat rear-lit numberplate and the Mk2 front so for me that's the best combination (other opinions are available LOL)
