oil seal on GKN diff
Discussion
I have the same issue and I have the seals ready to go in but I'm plucking up the interest to do it. There is a circlip which holds the flange in place and is just visible where the shaft of the flange goes into the diff (no doubt it'll be covered in grime), but it all looks very tight. May need some stout bent nose pliers. A previous thread included suggestion of taking the diff right out, on the basis it would be easier over all. Then could address bushes etc

I reckon this post sums things up very nicely, those circlips will be a b

but getting the new seal in the diff housing in situ looks like fun
