hi all,

D-Day is approaching (29th-30th Sept) when my chimaera goes in for all the leven technology upgrades.

Does anyone have any pics which they can post of their chimaera which has been upgraded?

Many thanks,

N

I've just stuck a silver stereo in too, really makes a difference!

How do you think mine would look with an ally dash?

OH

IMO yours looks quite dark inside - I think an ally dash would really brighten it up and give a nice contrast

Thinking about having the dash done on mine too, although maybe one of the other alluminium finishes - like the look of the brushed effect. Is it a DIY job? Whats involved? Also, the Leven ashtray and vent bits (ie the ones facing you, not for the windscreen) -do they just attach over the top? Doesn't that make them stick out too much?

The Leven dash looks excellent.

Many thanks for all the pictures - gives me an idea of what to expect.

The thread on fitting the dash is excellent too. i'm using a specialist for the fitting as the thought of legs in the air and head under the dash makes me a little queezy. Plus i've been reliably informed that I have elephant hands

Regards,

N

Gavstar.....

If thinking about doing the dash yourself.. u may want to check the current Leven 'special offers' ;o)

ALmost finished fitting mine....... looks good.. but my wood had begun to flake so supergluing beermats probably would have looked better.

Cheers Mattav,
have been thinking perhaps I should leave original one on ad reconsider my options if it starts to crack. Some things are best left unchanged I think, but then on another day I think an aluminium one would look cool. Same goes for the later style rear lights - do I prefer them? I'm not sure, and i don't think it's something that should be added to older cars. These cars are beautiful as they are I reckon.

Just had the Leven dash put in BOB......wood was cracked...looks great with the all dark blue interior, IMHO the wood looks best with the lighter interior, the alloy dash with dark...J

Speaking of girls' cars, if you look at my profile, you can see the Leven pedals on the interior pics. I know it's a Griff, but the pedals look the same.

Must update the pic - the heel plate's in as well now and looks luuuuuurvely!

I got the heel plate.

It weighs so much that I don't let passengers in now to keep the power to weight down.
