Hi,

Can someone give me the dimensions or the Chimaera please! I need overall length and the width (with mirrors folded if necessary).

I need to check if it will fit in my garage as it is, with the workbench at the end, kayak on one wall and shelving on the opposite wall.

Thanks,

Dan

Wonderful, thank you.

My garage is about 4200cm x 2400cm wide with the shelving and workbench taken into account, so should be big enough to fit the car in and open the door!

Actually, that's smaller than my Z4! I find that hard to believe!

I got my Chim last weekend and on the way home stopped off at local supermarket. On way out from supermarket I looked at the car and it really dawned on my how small it is compared to modern cars.

Excuse the photo as it was taken at night but you do see the scale.

Well, I'll look forward to having a bit of room to walk around the car in the garage in that case!

I'm going to see if I can get an indoor cover for it too. I'm always very nervous about scratching it with my zip of my jacket or tools when I'm walking around my old Z4.

Garage is looking cosy waiting for the new Chim! (I'm a bit nervous of oil and other fluids leaking from the old girl onto my new new carpet tiles though!)

Amazes me how big modern cars are now, despite roads and parking spaces not increasing in size

Buy a large shallow plastic tray from the garden centre, and plonk it down where the sump will be.

PS if you think the Chimaera is small, have a look at a mark 1 Lotus Elan. It is 3683 mm long, 1422 mm wide and weighs in at 688 kg (compared with 1060 kg for the TVR)
