My GF seems to have a thing about the amount of Tiv "bits" that are secreted around the place...

There's the new starter over in the corner,
the alternator by the speaker,
the new set of plug leads on the shelf under the coffee table,
the new lower coolant pipe also on the coffee table shelf,
the coolant temperature sender on the shelf on by computer desk,
the new windscreen washer spray bars that I've been experimenting with on the side shelf of the computer desk,
the new 100/80w headlight bulbs that are sat on the coffee table,
the extra high temperature plug lead boots that are sat on the projector shelf,
the foam seal strip to go between the radiator and bodywork that's sat on the projector shelf..

And it all sits there waiting for "one more bit" that I really ought to do at the same time to make it worthwhile so that I don't need to delve in there again soon - the latest "one more bit" is a pair of radiator fan cowlings and two new radiator fans that I "NEED" before doing the next batch of jobs. wink

What a strange bunch we are.... Although I'm not at home, I have left my new shiny Y piece on the living room sofa in front of the telly, and there's a complete set of Estorils with tyres piled on top of each other next to my computor table, also in the lounge.. Oh, and a new set of TVR Beavers wheel centres on the window ledge. And come to think of it, a box with my ACT CF air box in it on the stairs smile

Personally I believe this marks us out as real men, not worried about what others think of us, doing our own thing in our own way, regardless of the consequences. It may also be why my girlfriend left me and I now live on my own.

Or a stripped V8 in the bath and the other half moaning because "The kids need the bath more than your engine"

Basically we're animals. Some animals mark their territory with their scent, we mark ours with Chimaera parts. Keeps the bhes of the pack away!

Well, from here (spare room used as den/office), can see a spare dash, various bits of mirror internals and a housing, together with some spare new SP12 wheel centres. So not too bad....

....but this is stopping the kitchen table blowing away yum
