I know these were discussed in-depth a couple of months ago, but I can't find the thread.

I found this on YouTube. The how to DIY Steve Edwards headlight conversion from start to finish...

Great find (and vid) - and I would love to do this mod.....I think the final outcome looks lush...

But I am unsure whether the finished article would be as good as the vid.

The thing is, the Drivers side chrome on my Chim is already looking rusty, which is a perfect excuse to get it done when I replace / re~chrome the reflectors......

The only up side is, I have found a garage where I could potentially do such a job.....

Trying to search for reasons NOT to do it now.... wink

Looks good.

Any costs?

Does he do a fitting service, if so any ideas on cost?

DIY of any nature is not my strong point .......

Hi All,

I'd be interested in doing this conversion, does anyone have an address/phone number/ or website address so that I'd be able to order the parts and have a crack at it myself.

Cheers,

how about: http://www.steve-edwards.com/en/tvr-hardtops/chima...

Not sure if you are member of the tvrcc or not? If so, there is a long thread on the Chimaera forum about them detailing how these have evolved to this point.

TV8 & Kenny

Thanks for the quick reply & e-mail lads, very much appreciated. In the process of downloading the video on youtube so I'll sit and watch that later on and then decide when to order and what holiday is best to have a bash at it.

Cheers,

I like the look on a dark car but the jury is out until I see one on a light coloured car, that black band looks really wide!
