No, not a crash. Took the car to David Batty this morning for the 36k service. A few things need attention including the fact that she's been running a little hot for the last few months. Made it through last summer OK but not this one.

After the thorough DB has had a prod and poke it appears that the rad is on the way out. £198 for a reconditioned one, plus fitting and VAT. Plus the service. Bugger.

Oh well, looks like the AVOs will have to wait for another month or 2.

Take the rad to a rad specialist. A top quality recore should be in the region of £110.

Got the car (and the bill back). £1k!

Oh well, it seems to be running better but I need to get out on a good run to really check

Avo's are definitely on hold...

Was going for the AVOs myself up til Friday, when the tax man found I owe ihim £1300.

Mine are definitely on hold now also
