Hi guys help needed again,,, the picture below is of something to do with the steering rack, on the right side of the cover held in place by 2 allen key bolts there is a tiny hole that is leaking steering Fluid it isnt the cover itself, it emptied all the fluid and hints clues or remedies,,,

Are you saying that there is a hole in the body of the rack? It looks like the pipe fitting is also leaking?

No PAS fluid = no lubrication frown

Three choices, a rebuild, replace it with a Scooby rack or fit a manual rack.

I have a reconditioned rack for sale if you are interested. Its no longer required as sportmotive are rebuilding my car and fitting a subaru rack in its place.

Just looked at your pic again and it looks like that pipe fitting is the culprit, it may just need nipping up wink the color of your PAS fluid looks knackered I would recommend changing it if you want a long steering rack life scratchchin

Good quality Dexron III ATF and to bleed it you turn the wheels from lock to lock with the engine running until it quietens down.

As simple as that no valves to open just start and lock to lock topping up as the steering is turned a few times ,,,

Yep, preferably with the front wheels off the ground though.
