I normally pay £300 PA for a limited mileage policy with Manning, but due to a new house etc looking to cut costs. In order to get her on the road for the summer really need something which is less money upfront, ideally a 6 month policy as she will be back in the garage next winter. (yes I know that is bad but I am a fair weather TVR driver!)

Any ideas?

Cancel the policy mid-term and get a partial refund. Use that money towards next years insurance.

Tbh, I'd prefer to keep it insured all year, in-case of theft or spontaneous combustion.

I've got winter tyres on both cars, and I'm using both cars this time of year smile

+1 You need it covered through the winter for theft, but if it were mine I would (apart from this week -see linky) just drive it on the nice winter days. It will lift your spirits.
