just been out and had a look at the Air filter on the chimaera. the one that's fitted is a K&N filter, going to be replacing this shortly; it doesn't fit through the hole,
The car is a face lift model, if squashed a bit could probably get it out didn't bother as haven't got a filter to replace it with yet. have tried looking in the bible and searching on here, is getting it out through the grill the normal way?

doesn't seem much difference from the pipercrooss or k&n, I have already brought a pipercross air filter cleaning kit thinking car would have one fitted so will probably buy a pipercross unit, am I right in thinking this will fit through the grill or be squishy foam so can and be squashed.
With the piperross I don't mind regularly giving it a clean. but would consider getting a K&N filter what K&N part numbers do people use? link's please if you have them. and do these fit through the grill on a face lift model? as I don't what to be squashing a cotton filter to get it in the hole, or removing the radiator!
