Just laid in place for now, I need to make a bracket. And the new catch tank which will need some fine adjustments but the bonnet shuts which is a bonus!

OK - since I appear to have no issues making a complete T.W.A.T of myself I'll ask the question ...

... what the *FECK* is that? biggrin

It looks good but what is it...

It's an accusump, for those oh st moments when the baffled sump needs just that little bit more!
( it pumps oil into the galleries when the oil pickup sucks in air)
The other shiny bit is the all singing all dancing oil catch tank

I got it from eBay, it plumbs into a t piece of the oil pressure switch,
@ snorky its to help stop oil surge, on long bends and high cornering G's, I may never need it but its piece of mind and a lot cheaper than a rebuild.

does that canister just purge gas out of the bonnet vents - a la Fast and the Furious wink
operated by a pull cable under the dash?

No it's for oiling, can be used to pre oil on start up, act like a turbo timer and oil turbos after shutdown and during hard cornering helps prevent oil starvation, HTH thumbup

Ermm they are kind of mutually exclusive, you can either discharge at switch off (but I can't really see how that shot of oil would cool the turbos) or seal before turning off so that you can manually deliver a shot of oil before starting. Personally I can't imagine getting under the bonnet & messing with that lever to achieve any of that.

They really are a PITA if you only have the manual valve (which I assume is fine for race cars where the sump is sat next to the driver), with a solenoid valve to make them operate on the ignition switch is far better. However accusump do charge a fortune for their installations, the F-O-A ones I bought came with the electronic valve as standard so were a real bargain so I can't really understand why they stopped selling them.

I've gone for the manual valve so I can choose what it does and when, if its being laid up then I'd close the valve before switching off, the turbos are water cooled using thermo siphon so the little extra oil just helps, and I'm always under the bonnet, and pulling a couple of levers isn't exactly that difficult.
But the main reason for getting it was to compliment the baffled sump which I'm having made
