At Neil Garner's Open Day there was a Chim with gas struts to hold the bonnet open. It was a very neat installation and held the bonnet much wider than the OEM stay does.

Would anyone happen to have a link to somewhere that sells them?

Fitting them to the bonnet itself looked straightforward but I suspect the headlight shroud needs to come off to bolt them on to the wings...

I also had a look at that Chim (and took some pics of the stays for referance), would be interested in more details.

I think the owner might have said Surface & Design did the work whilst it was in for the Lupo conversion.

I have to say that was the first Lupo lights I'd seen in the flesh and I did like them too.

Thanks :-) I was kinda hoping for a "here's a kit, just drill 3 holes using this template" sort of deal :-)

Here you go

Oh and this one you might recognise - where'd you get these from? I have a worryingly wobbly drivers side bonnet hinge.

Swanny they're Steve Heath Q/R hinges. One bolt in the centre on each and the bonnet slides off and can be repositioned in the same position without adjusting?
