205/55ZR15 tyres?
Discussion
Looking for help here please. A quick internet search suggests that no-one makes a 205/55 15 inch tyre with a Z or ZR rating. Does anyone know different?
If not can anyone suggest an alternative tyre. The best/only suggestion my local fitter has come up with is an Enduro with a W rating. I'd rather have a better known brand if possible.
Any suggestions gratefully received.
Thanks.

There are a few that are w rated.
Why does it after be W rated?
What car are you fitting them too?
The V rated toyos in that size should be more than adequate for 15 inch wheels as per Chim or Griff.
The Toyos on mine are W rated and as that's OK up to 150mph I don't see that as a problem. TBH I suspect that a Chimaera would be hard pushed to go that fast. I got a quote from ctyres to supply and fit a set of 4 tyres on mine for less than £400. I thought that was a pretty good deal.
My insurance company said the tyres need to be safe up to 70mph because that is the legal limit .
V rated tyres are not a problem in the UK,just tell your insurance company .

Hi PVN,
the new Bridgestone Potenza Adrenalin RE002 is available in 205/55/15 (front)and 225/50/16 (rear) both in correct W rating. Although V might not be a problem in the UK, over here in Germany it well is. To my investigation this is the only tyre available in these sizes if you want to stay with the original factory wheel set up. The Dunlop SP9000 was available in this size but seemingly not any more and the tyre was crab anyway. I put the Adrenalin's on my Griff recently but so far did only a few miles in cold wheather, so can't really say how good they are. Keep you posted.

I've just had a set of these put on:

Vs on front and W on back - insurance don't care.
Look the part, seem to get good reviews. I'll report back how I get on.

Sorry to bring the "tyre" topic up again but I'm looking for new Toyo T1R's and was wondering if anyone has bought from this lot. I've been looking for a while for the best price and seem to keep coming back to these.
Can anyone advise if they've come across a better price.
Hope I'm not going against the "rules" here by posting these links. Apologies if I am.

I'm looking for new fronts and just seen these

Seems like a bargain. I have the Toyo T1R on the back, so all 4 would match.
Sound good?
