Any one have an idea as to the current that the starter solonoid draws ?.
Just put a relay in and wanted to put a fuse to the battery, just wondering what size to use.

Use a 20 amp as it draws around 13/15 amps, or rather it should!!!

...and what current will blow a 20A fuse!

IMHO 10A continuous fuse will happily tolerate brief loads of 20A & run all year at 10A - the solenoid is only drawing 12-15A whilst it mechanically throws then <3A till the starter is released. If the solenoid isn't mechanically throwing because its fked why would you want to melt the wiring & everything by shoving more current at it.
