Hopefully someone can help?

A few weeks ago took the car out for a quick run and it cut out on me in traffic, eventually started again and half an hour later same again. Couldn't hear the fuel pump priming so changed the fuel pump relays. Haven't used it again till today and twice the same thing happened again, any idea out there please?

My car occasionally does this and I have found the cure to be........
1) Clean the stepper motor and its seat.
2) If the above doesn't work, then disconnect ECU for 30 seconds or so to reboot it.

Hope this helps.

Is it still on the original immobiliser/alarm? If so, it could be flakey. Mine had same symptoms and was traced back to the alarm/immobiliser.

Full replacement cured the problem.

How old is your fuel, had the same issue after winter lay-up. Brimmed tank with super-plus and cured it!
