As tittle, when on a trackday I felt a hesitation in fuel or air delivery out of long right hand corners! Not the lefts? I'm assuming it's not electrics, had plenty of fuel in the car, bit weird! I was going from a left into the rights mind! Could the hesitation be a delay from the corner just before which was a sharpe left.

Errr in essence if you starve the fuel pump for a second,,,,, how long before the fuel rail pressure drops!

Anyone using a surge pump etc,

Any ideas would be greatfully looked at. Cheers Al

A loss of pressure at the pump will be an almost instant drop at the injectors.
It does sound like fuel surge so it looks like a swirl pot will be on your shopping list.

You don't have to be drawing air at the HP pump just a loss of head. High pressure pumps can cavitate if there is not a good head of fuel.

If you go that route give me a shout and I can advise on the system layout.
