5AM is referring to the MAF unit I think. 14 CUX works with 3AM and 5AM, which are different size MAF units. Better taking a photo to be sure and uploading it. You'll get a definite answer then!

Ignor any serial numbers or part number variants- all the 14CUX's are cross compatable electronically from around 1991 onwards. The cases and part numbers are different depending on origions, as is the software in the ECU chip, that TVR replace anyway. Both the 5AM and 3 AM are cross compatable- ones hitachi and the other lucas.
