As zed4 said, could be build number ,wouldnt be suprised if the chassis no of your car ended 1390

Its supposed to say 1930, year of manufacture, sorry, I cant shed any light but my bonet has diagonal fibre strutting across to the corners yours appears smooth! Am I missing something or did they change them, by that picture they must have, mines a late car. you learn things everyday here!

Later cars have the light weight bonnet,cars upto approx 97 had the s/s bars as mine

Would have thought the later bonnet was heavier, all that extra fibre comparaed to 2 thin steel struts. Yup, mine a later bonnet, Aug '97.

New heatshield material fixed today and a little black sray touchup.
