Body and screen seal

Can anyone give me an idea od fitting the seal around the carpet area .Should the carpet trap in between the seal and body .

Mine just forces the carpet downwards ..Or should it be cut up against the seal .

My carpet has past it`s best ,pretty rotten , I don`t have the budget to do it this year.

have a go at the carpets yourself Daz, there is quite a few good PH threads on here about carpet fitting on most models of TVR's but the priciple is the same, time and patience unfortunatley PH search is down at the moment, just your luck.

Carpet should be clamped under the seal
