Just thought I'd share thumbup

Lovely sunny day here in Somerset on Saturday so I thought I'd take the old girl out for a blast with my new lady friend in the passenger seat.

After a bit of 'spirited' driving I turned down a local road and backed of the throttle, for the first time ever she let out a massive - BANG! Then another and another.... I giggled like a little school girl and kept trying to get her to carry on smile

As you were folks biggrin

The smile is one to be remembered, Shelly got it pop on her first drive and her face cracked from a nervous serious stare to a cheeky smile of a child.
If you accelerate hard and then go on over-run and just feather the throttle you can make "pop" music at will. wink

The car or the lady friend hehe

If you want a car that crackles and pops all the time, a big engined Wedge with flapper is hard to beat.

I can't say what the lady did I'm afraid wink

Excuse my stupidness, but what is a 'flapper' and why do I suddenly feel the need for one?

The "flapper" is the type of air flow meter before the hotwire afm that we have on our chims.
But if you feather the throttle like I say, you can command thunder!!

+1 that recipe works in mine too, boot it ( grin like an idiot!), lift off, pops ( grin like an idiot again). If I time it right I can get it to do it under the motorway bridge! Even bigger grin.

+2. Try it down hill. It will pop and bang all the way down!

Where are my car keys I have to give this a try! Mine is standard and doesn't make any over-run moises I'm afraid.
My mates Tommy Mak Evo 6 however is a danger to old ladies walking in the street and that's not to mention the 6 foot flames it can shoot out the back.
The loudest car I ever heard was a yellow Cerb near Northwich last year and I have to admit it made me jump from over 50 yards away!! Note to owner - don't let the police hear that or you will be done for public order.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who does this smile I'm sure it's popping a bit more with this V-Power nitro stuff too.

Samphire Hoe, just off the A20 leaving Dover. Not a huge tunnel only 300m long, but a steep decline! Dartford isn't too bad either, but full of cameras and normally busy!

Just took advantage of the nice day and drove up Corfe Hill, across the top of the Blackdowns and dropped down to Wellington to see Big Col at TVRSSW.

Fantastic drive smile
