If it's of value, and i'm sure it is, what does ARM stand for. I get pissed off with all these stupid abreviations. Good English deserves b....dy good English. Good photo.

No problem EGB (as different from MGB, which is a car from the 1960s and 1970s) - I had exactly the same issue with AFM and AFR. It took 3 hours at a rolling road for me to realise the difference.
AFM is the air flow meter, that shiny lump in the air intake hose that is fixed to the wing with one bolt
AFR is air fuel ratio, which should be between 11 and 14 or your engine melts

Thanks for that QBee, I new the first one, just confirmed I new the second one too!
Peter's garage is a nice Cosy place.
I'll be underneath mine to check. Top man Peter. Regards AFR, Peter has an AFR gauge in his car Coool.
Seems like an important reading to have, especially when reving the old girl, aka trackwork.

Oh that reminds me i must refit my rear anti-roll bar. I took mine off when i found yet another SH droplink sheared. Ive done about 1000 miles without it and cant tell the difference if i'm honest.
Would the Leven ones be better? Or just an engine with 100 fewer stallions?QBee said:

The Leven (or leven type) ones do look like they will last.I did suspect mine had broke due to bottoming out and hitting the front mounts. Mine didnt rip like Peters but just deformed out of shape. Since swapping the rear springs from 325 to 400 lb ive only heard the exhaust mount kiss the tarmac once with the car fully loaded. How much stress the anti roll bar is under due to drag strip launches i dont know. But the thinnest part of the SH link a very weak point and i guess cant take much stress other than in compression.
