I feel positively young(ish) after reading that!

My old man still keeps all his 20 odd vintage and veteran cars going all by by himself at 86, including any engineering work, so I guess it can be done.
He still makes around 15 car tours a year, plus a few smaller shows.

All you young fellas can rest assured then, you have a good spell ahead of you yet smile

I'm just a pup by comparison, so I'll leave you in peace, to talk about whatever it is that older folk talk about

I'm 31 in November................... I do feel and act like I'm north of 60 though.

Those darned kids and their long hair, loud music and trousers hanging around their added. Get a job you hippies smile

I think we talk about the same things you young lads talk about but with less chance of it coming to fruition.
I think i'll try a track day to see if you young guns are as good as you think you are.

Well north of 60 and still booting it. I do draw the line at servicing though - I lost the urge many years ago to crawl around on the floor with oil in my eyes. Much rather pay str8six, and they are better at it than me.

Nah. You are too far away. Even my dog can't smell Hayling Island from Oxfordshire. Try rubber pants!

And I'll bet he is a lot younger than his years because he has something he enjoys to occupy body and mind and fill his days, and also knows he doesn't have to bother if he doesn't feel like it.

I'll nominate Big Geoff, oh alright me! We're deffinately in this club. Both losing it but turning spanners, no problem. Have been known to p*ss in the courner at meetings. Both still working; to our cars on the road; or in his case fleet. Don't know if I want to sell my Chim' now and leave you crazy lot!! It refreshing the banter on here compaired with the Merc's site. All they seem to post about is lease deals on the latest AMG. Crack on TVR "Wrinkles" driving them keeps the bowels open!! Cheers J C.
