Is yours in the boot or just further down the footwell

In the footwell. Old-style battery box (for 075 batt), lid removed.

Never understood the deal with relocating to the boot. Why would you want a battery that's normally safely tucked up between the wheels sited low & well insulated from the elements, high up in the boot, on top or in front of the fuel tank and pretty much on the outer edge of the chassis with 4 extra metres of high current cable running through the car? The things burn well enough as it stands...

Like your style, I've been thinking dry cell, do they handle everyday use well? If I could gain two inches that would be enough for anyone, lol. I'd rather leave it in place, lowest point to put it anyway.

It sits nicely behind the seat but I do not have a clue how to fibreglass so it went in the boot ..

No complaints, only over winter I found that three weeks of not using the car was just too much for this particular specimen & out came the jump start cables (I've left the car for two weeks often enough back when I still had the company car, with no problems). A conventional wet plate battery would be seriously comprommised after draining it enough for it not to be able to start the car. I also like the thought of having no battery acid in the passenger space of the car for safety.

I think replacing the 075 with the PC 925, placing the fuel ECU next to it in the box instead of having it dangle in front, not using the lid and pushing the carpeted footwell thingy home with my feet as far as it goes has netted 2-3" of extra legroom at the very least, probably closer to 4". I'm 6'2.5" with long legs and I can almost stretch my legs completely in the passenger footwell.

A few people seem to have used a pair of the slimmer 525 and 680 Odyssey batteries one behind each seat ...

Is there any difference between the black cased PC925 and the red cased PC925 batteries?

That's flipping cool, in fact that behind the pass seat would be brilliant, under heavy brakes my car locks up on the inside left front and rears if really pushed, I can tell the difference in my weight on the right, thats the future.

I'm going dry cell when mine gives up, right there, awesome.

I wonder if you can get away with a single one of those batteries or whether you really need a pair to get enough capacity?

If your on about the one in the above picture, you will only need one of those. Does fit there just perfect.
