Applied to go down to Goodwood on Sunday, got:

Thank you for your pre-registration confirming that you intend to come to SOFT TOP SUNDAY - 05/05/2013.

Given the theme this Sunday, your car unfortunately does not directly fit the appropriate display parameters. However, we feel that your car will be of interest in its own right to the attendees on the day, and as such we are delighted to give you the opportunity of parking within the collector’s car area on the Outer Perimeter of the Motor Circuit.

Oh well!

Symantecs I suppose.

I always assumed a softop was a generic term for a convertible, which I would have thought a Chim / Griff was..

LOL, since no one has ever seen a chimp with the roof down its understandable.

I for one thought they looked like a drop top but were in fact fixed wink

Probably failed on the sunroof test - you can't fit a sunroof in a soft top

Odd. There have been TVR's there previously. Check this thread for photos of a green Chim and orange Griff at 2011 event:

Also green Chim on page 4, blue Griff on page 5.

Someone has made a slight mishtake I think.

And a 355 GTS on page 5, definitely not a soft top!

Wow, was rammed. Chaos. Even registered cars couldnt get in the main entrance at one point. Never seen it so busy.

Only at breakfast club would you see a £200k Mclaren parked next to a Cortina 1,3L convertible!
