Been for a run out to local country park , loads of comments about the chim, however on the way home stood at some lights behind a bright red e-type convertible. 2 fellas waiting to cross at the lights shouted to the e-type owner, "nice car mate, but i'd rather have that Tvr behind you" and gave me the thumbs up. I gave it the beans in way of thanks!

great storey and reminded me of when i got a friend (ex griff 500 owner now with a 911) to drive mine as i hadn't heard what it sounded like from the outside and wanted his opinion of it.
Well he took off up the road and the noise gave me goose bumps and when he came back into sight it looked great too, so he stopped and I said "well Dave, what do you think?" expecting him to say "the suspension is a bit on the wooly side and the clutch heavy and high" but no his reply was " You know what, I have driven a few of these, and this is one of the best it is so tight it feels really planted and really goes too" whick put a nice smile on my face then he finished his statement off by saying "It makes me realise just how under powered my Porsche is!" and that just put an unimaginable grin on my face and i just replied " I'm glad you like it"
