Just had my Chim serviced, and a small leak was noticed from the PAS, though not serious enough to warrant immediate fixing as my wallet's feeling a bit beaten up right now...

However, now find that the PAS is not working very well to help with applying left lock (though R still fine, oddly). Reckon I probably need to top up the PAS reservoir, but have left my bible 150 miles away at work (don't ask...). Just wanting to check that the plastic pot on the offside of the plenum with the dipstick in the cap is indeed this reservoir... Would be very embarassing to have poured ATF220 into my Windscreen Washers/Air con/Expansion tank etc etc

Cheers

Andrew

The black plastic reservoir at the side of the plenum is the power steering reservoir.
The sympton you mention regarding the rack, is sometimes noticed when damage has occured to either the left or the right front suspension.
