New interior for £120
Discussion
I have just finished refurbing the interior and WOW, Furniture clinic products and staff are fantastic, The pasenger seat was in fairly poor condition and the drivers seat was terrible, the right hand bolster had bare patches and the leather was badly cracked and stained. The results are brilliant, they look almost brand new. If i can work out how to post pictures I will show you the results.
I have the Magnolia interior and found that its the Jaguar magnolia from the 80s and 90s.
The staff were really helpfull and gave me all the info to do the job and the techniques to use aswell. I found it fairly easy aswell for those that are hesitant at doing it themselves and for all the kit, including the hire of the compressor was just over £140.
I will advise though if you are doing it, when you are using the "Leather Prep" use it in a well ventilated area as its potent and gave me a massive headache.

I did my interior 3 months ago and have completed 2000 miles, the seats still look as good as they did when I finished them.
Still early days but thie product finish seemed too good to be true and so I am monitoring the longevity, so far so good!
No need for fillers unless you have tears or holes in the leather, the cracks are superficial and in the colourant only, the leather prep takes off the top coat colour and down to the bare leather, thus removing all visible cracks.

Which products were used for this good result?
Hi, I used furniture clinic products and it comes in various sizes of kit depending on how much you want to do. They provide all you need and there are some good video's on youtube of "how to". I would advise that you hire the compressor that they offer over the proplellant cans as you have an even supply of air and unless there is a power cut you wont run out. In the kit they supply, Leather prep, Alchohol cleaner, Colourant, and finish (clear), plus the air brush, sponges, scotch brite, cloth and gloves.Gassing Station | Chimaera | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
