Does any body know if its okay to use a standard 90degree silicone bend for the hose between to stat and the swirl pot? The TVR one has a slight curvature. I have a silicone one as below, but wondered if it 'had' to have a slight curve in it. Any body else using a standard 90deg bend?

Hi Chris,

I think a standard 90° hose is just fine, but as far as I remember, the inner diameter of the hose is different at both ends (35mm swirl pot, 38 mm thermostat housing) - but that could have been another hose.

I believe Chris is correct with the dimensions.

This is an ACT one, more of a smooth curve although I don't suppose there is much difference in flow with a tighter bend.

Yup - Mine was 38/35 ... 38/38 left a very slight leak when I did mine.
