I use detergent (Fairy liquid) and water to clean the roof (gets rid of the old proofer). Re-colour with Renovo and then re-proof with Fenwicks Awning and Gazebo re-proofer, £9.99/ltr from your local Caravan dealer. As was said earlier it doesn't restore it to new but it makes it look a lot nicer and mines still the original 1997 roof!
I used Autoglym - it came up a treat but it wasn't bad in the first place to be honest so it's difficult to say if it was "that" good or not.
However, the Autoglym roof protector is FANTASTIC - water beads up on it like it does on the paintwork after a polish - it's well worth a liberal coat once you've cleaned it first.

Agreed, find the autoglym stuff very impressive for water proofing. However, the Autoglym roof protector is FANTASTIC - water beads up on it like it does on the paintwork after a polish - it's well worth a liberal coat once you've cleaned it first.
