Congratulations on No2. Collecting is easy Drive Chim No1 with some friends in thier Tivs to Yarmouth, (with someone you trust to drive it), Then remove the roof on chim No2 and have a TVR convoy back home, or even make a weekend of it and arrange a gathering. smile

Sorry i thought you were becoming a 2 chim family. You may find a hire company that will allow you to drop off in Yarmouth

Congratulations and welcome back home. Check out a cheap day single on the trains, book in advance, they can be pretty cheap!

Funny because my car had one owner for 10 years, lived in Edingborough . Small world.

Pop a bit further south to Gorleston-on-Sea. Very nice place and if you drive along the cliffs to the last car park (it's free biggrin ) on Marine Parade you will see Jay's Diner on the path down by the beach, excellent food and coffee and a great place to sit and chill out for a while thumbup

I may drive it to Wetherby Services on the A1 next weekend for the cost of the fuel including the detour from Herts and £50 for my trouble. We are heading that way anyway, so can go in convoy and get a lift back.

Not after a joyride, I've got one.

£61 is the cheapest ticket. Takes eight hours though! (from glasgow)

Eta: It's £62 and seven hours from Edinburgh. Cracking value I must say.

Congratulations! thumbup

Thanks for that really appreciated, may get back to you if that's alright. I'm looking into how much to get it transported up at moment

No worries. I suspect it would be cheaper to get it transported anyway, and you don't have to entrust it to somebody on a message board.
