I looked at it and thought "Hmmm ... seats and doorcards are in good nick - what else do I need?"

Thing is though that's another one bites the dust ... you know, that makes me so sad to see another one written off - probably destined to be going off to one of the breakers to be torn apart like a Sunday roast chicken. frown

Another 4k Chim here. Make a nice (meaning cheap) starting point for an LS conversion if you were a DIY man like Engineer John smile

(assuming it's not cat c or d)

All IMO of course....

It is CAT-D. Looks it has been peppered by a shotgun! I dunno about these sub £5k Chims, they all seem to require thousands spent to get to a decent standard. Unless like you say, all the work is done yourself.

No service history. Needs a complete respray, don't know condition of chassis, it's been written off.

I wouldn't pay over 2k for it to be perfectly honest. It's a big gamble even if i was to do most of the chassis work and prep work for painting myself.

Wifey paid 4k for her Chim (includes £500 auction fees), Had a recent complete interior refurb, front end respray, full service history, 4 brand new toyos. The only thing needed done was the outriggers which is why it was auctioned by a dealer.
