Steering Column

Hi all,

Anyone know where I can source a new steering column for my 98 Chimaera?

I have read its from a MK3 Vauxhall Cavalier. Right?


Any help would be much appreciated

I think the column is a bit at a hybrid concoction made by tvr.

Guess the well known, trusted and respected TVR breakers are the obvious chioce or there was a guy called "Chimjunkie" breaking his Chimaera, may be able to help you ?

I was hoping for a new one if its came from a Vauxhall as I have just got it back from a 15mth full refurb and would much prefer new kit.

I think you may mean the steering Rack and not Column as its the Rack that wears. I just has my rack rebuilt by John Halstead (TVR Engineer) who you can find on this forum and check out his work.
