Is my diff on its way out?

My little chim has picked up a problem, it's started to have a small knocking sound when pushing the car backwards and forwards, the noise will take 2 rotations of the wheel before the noise starts, after about three quarters of wheel rotation it stops for a while then starts up again

Have I lost afew teeth or is it something else

I had the same thing recently - sounds like a 'donk' noise from just behind the pax seat?

Replaced the upper diff bush (well, I didn't - someone competent did) and all has been fine since.

Cost a few £££ in labour though as its not a nice job by all accounts.
