CHROME EXHAUST MANIFOLDS?

IM THINKING OF GETTING MY EXHAUST MANIFOLDS CHROMED WHILST THEY ARE OFF TO HAVE THE PRE CATS REMOVED, ANYONE KNOW ANY REASONS WHY I SHOULD/SHOULD NOT GET IT DONE? CHEERS, PHIL.

your manilfolds will have to be in excellent condition for them to be chromed properly, free of rust, pitting in the pipes etc.

not sure how long the chrome would last where they bolt to the heads, which is the hottest part of them.
