evening all,
ive got a 93 car with the early round side repeaters on, id like to fit the later fiesta type but didnt know if the the bulb holders came with them & do you just cut the wiring from the old vauxhall ones & solder up the ford ones? have i got some filing to do on the wings to change the shape of the hole or do the fiesta ones fit?
thanks in advance.

Any use? This is what my hole looks like, the bulb holder is just a standard ford push in and turn thing with a 2 pin connector. If it was me doing it I would just buy some ebay universal fitment ones and then it would just be join the wires and stick them on.

What are you doing with the round ones?
I've got a 92 Griff with Ford repeaters which I want to convert back to round.

Bought some similar to those on your link and they didnt have the retaining moulding and clip - I've not fitted yet but only way I can see is stick them on with Sikaflex or similar. I will probably end up going with genuine Ford replacements so they fit as per originals.

Those are junk, they stick on with glue and will fall off after 6 months smile

For future reference, after seeing this thread I went and bought some ebay cheapies just for the sake of it.

FORD TRANSIT MK4 / MK5 / MK6 SMOKED SIDE REPEATERS (PAIR)

A tiny bit loose because handmade tvr and you can't adjust them like you can with the ford metal clip ones, but they're not about to fall off or flap in the wind.

Yeah, it just looks like a piece of thin foam stuck to the indicator to stop it scratching the paintwork/make it a tight fit.

Getting some with the metal clip is the important part, because then you can adjust it to whatever size the hole is. A couple of mm makes the difference between a tight fit and it not looking quite perfect.

Try turning them around also as they may fit better that way around.
