I thought the 350bhp was made up.? Its 4hp up on when i last tested it not that 4 hp will make any difference. But its making it on less advance so its safe at least now

Mines due on the Rollers tomoroow for mapping. will be interesting to see how it compares to yours Daz.
I think my current DIY map is pretty reasonable at cruise and the normal driving areas, but needs a bit of work at the top end.

Also having a few issues when stuck in traffic for long periods due to leaning out, which is probably due to heat soak to the MAT sensor.

My advance table is very simialar to Daz's prior to remapping, are you saying this is 'unsafe' Which area of the table are you referring too?

My advice would be to any DIY mappers is to get it on the Rollers with someone who knows what they are doing .

You can be he best mapper in the world but if there is a problem with the wiring ,lambda or ECU you won`t know what its actually doing .

I`m currently running with out the Lambdas workinng ,the ECU thinks everything is OK but its running much richer ,up to 1 afr.

I`m not sure if everything is out including the Spark and all the settings due to voltage offsets or it`s just the lambda giving the wrong signal to the ECU.

Once the lambdas are turned on it messes the whole thing up.

Its a voltage problem ,to be honest when i get some more pennys the while lot going to be ripped out and a new loom fitted ,starting from scratch.

The 350hp was bit optimistic ,343bhp is good enough ..

343 is excellent Daz, 20 more then my 4.6 of similar spec.

What was the Torque figure?

Can you put your map up?

Don't forget Peter Daz's VE table will not look to much like yours due to the different inj's/ required fuel etc.

No because I have made a real balls up

Just got the car back home ,it was so much better,smoother all the way through and a nice idle.

Can`t believe what I have done

Thought I would have a nosey so plugged the lap top on ,it came up with differences ,must of pressed the wrong button and it has burned the old tune ..

I`m pig sick and can`t find the bespoke map Jools did for me .

Speak to Jools, when he did mine he kept the map which he later emailed me.

Hopefully he will have done the same with yours.

Hopefully I will see Honest Daz at the Kit and Classic Car Show on Sunday, more cheerful and eyeing up his next purchase, an LS7 Ultima. I just hope there is a Dinky Toy one available......will you be bringing Erin and the twins?
