Further to what I said yesterday someone must know they seem to come in sets of 4 but I only need 2 as there are adjustable Gaz shocks on the front, the rear left tyre was rubbing on the arch yesterday when I took the car back home from Blackpool on uneven roads or cornering,,,

Not adjustable platforms on the rear? If the tyre was rubbing can't you just increase the preload to stop it catching
Pairs should be available if you do need only the rears, contact Derek (absolutely shocks) on here.

I would also take the opportunity to fit a new set of springs all round, standard +20% as standard is too soft.

Is that the accepted wisdom for pure road cars (no track days) as well?

New dampers are a winter plan and I'm thinking of going protech as it won't be tracked (or if it does see a track it will probably be just the once).

Thanks.

Yep, standard too soft, mine was bottoming out on spirited country lane driving.

+20% recommended by Jools fitted to my Pro-Techs, a world better and still complient.

Protech comes as standard for tvr`s 400lb front 325lb rear so heavier rated springs compared to the originals.

I speced my springs from Pro-Tech as mine had standard.

When I ordered mine end of last year I asked for the 400/325 as it seemed that's what was recommended, and they said "that's what they come with anyway "

Mine were new approx 5-6 years ago, probably fitted standard then.
