Hello boys and girls,

Wanting to replace my servo. However, I do not wish to pay this £400 premium some companies wish to charge as the part has now been discontinued.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated smile

I got mine along with a new master cylinder from Brakes International. Cant remember how much now but nothing like £400. Its a Fiesta item XR2i era. Think they were the same across all fiesta models of that era.

They are becoming hard to find now without paying stupid money. Think its time someone found a more modern alternative.

Was it a left hand drive Fiesta?

I've been thinking the same thing, there must be a decent one out there that will fit with a mod or two. I'm sure the idea is that if the servo was better you just spin every time you touched the brakes. As the car is pretty light on its tyres it's not an easy one to get right. Err what do the Fiesta boys do? I was at a car meet tonight and there was an XR2i there and didn't even think to look, doah!

Lucky me managed to source one after a few phone calls for £40 all in (Master cylinder and servo)!

Came off a Fiesta XR2i written off in 1993, has been dry stored (no fluid) and never used since then. All in superb condition. Beats the £700 TVR Power will take off you for it all!

Even if it only lasts a few years I don't care at £40!
