Hi all, whilst I have touched up my wheel centres with black paint, I am shortly due to have my alloys refurbished and want some shiney new centre caps to go on them. Whereabouts can you buy these? Its standard chim 15/16" 5 spokes.

I think I enquired a while ago at my local TVR Main Dealer and they were about that price I lived without them
Have you tried your local chrome spinners dealer, they might be able to get hold of something similar
while out 'crusing' last night a young lad turned up in a Saxo that he would not tell us how much it stood him at, but as well as a Carbon roof, sissor doors, tuscan rear indicators, a PS2, the list goes on, he had MASSIVE chrome spinners on it, you'd have liked it

oooooooo you cheeky monkey! carbon roof eh, scissor doors eh

seriously though, some carbon may find its way onto the project S.... we shall see.

For the chim, immediate plan of action is to go for anthracite refurbishing on the alloys. I'll see how the freshly painted centre caps look when on the car but dont want to ruin £200 worth of refurb to be let down by not spending £26 on the centre caps.

I have the front splitter to fit as well, but going to borrow a mate's pit to fit that as even on axle stands the car isnt raised by that much to be able to carefully drill underneath to fit the splitter. Corner splitters are the next step so that no air from the front of the car will be causing any lift. Well, thats the theory. Then its on to playing around with the idea of a diffuser, then a carbon dash, then leven wiper arms

in all seriousness, not sure what the plan is yet. The chim will be fixed up one way or another but I have been tempted by a very pimpesque 348 in Verdis at the mo.

Black with Black leather? Just needs a Limo tint Followed a very nice 360 Spider from last nights 'street racing' cruise event I can see (and hear) the appeal

yep, and the fixed price servicing meant the running costs look pretty similar to the Tiv. Always said that once you get used to TVR servicing/running costs, no other supercar will surprise you much. I think thats a good thing but I am not quite sure..

I found some fairly plain mock carbon fibre centres a little while ago for about £2.

They don't look half bad on my kit car.

Local boy racer shop. They are just plain discs that stick on but as there's a hole in the middle of the wheel they'll only be stck at the edges. Might do until you find something decent.

Want me to have a look for you?
